jiffy mix plus?

Hi all-
I was reading about "jiffy mix," which from what i understand is verm, peat, and lime (no fertilizer), to use as a casing layerinstead of doing 50/50. Walmart here only has "jiffy mix plus" which has fertilizer added. Is this the same thing, and if not is it still good to use or what? I've been casing with verm only and not getting what I want.
Any help is appreciated!
