is this good for a sclerotia harvest (ALT#7)

sorry no pics...

I innoc'd some 1 pint RGS jars on 12/21/05 with some ALT#7 LC and have harvested two of them today with a wet weight of 79g.

Since I'm told that fresh sclerotia is twice as potent as fresh cubes, I estimate that this is equivalent to about 160g wet of cubes, or 16g dry cubes.

I'm not really sure how well I did, but I've got 12 more jars to harvest still! So I'm not too worried about it!

There isn't much yield information out about this species yet so your post is an important addition. Your yields are in line with other posted results. In comparison, quart jars containing 1 cup of RGS have yielded around 75 grams fresh in 3 months. Your two pint jars yielding 79 grams only slightly exceeds the quart jar results. You might want to record the dry weight of the seed to better determine the yield per gram of dry seed.

afoafoaf has done 50 qt jars and the overall average was 60 grams fresh.some worse,some better.anyone else have an average over a large number of jars.

I am getting approximately 115 g or so per jar at about 5-6 months.  Very potent too.

I'm going for qt jars. Still at agar phase though. But I'm doing mexicans.
