Not necessarily, it also depends on how many warnings were issued. for example...a user may be given 10 warnings hypothetically with no actual points or temp bans being given. But if that user DOES get a ban after that many warnings, his first temp ban may be several months.

It also depends on what kind of ban they get...
some offenses are worse than others.

They can be permanently banned for Spamming, being underage and looking for a drug hook up.

Nuh uh! It should be above six, not that I'm complaining.
I got banned for calling some Mods "fascist fucking assholes", which got me up to six points, then was banned for trying to create a new account (which was label a "puppet" due to some anonymous mentally defective Mod.)
