Tasmanian Casing
    #534499 - 01/28/02 10:36 PM (22 years, 9 months ago)

Hey, I have a quick casing question. I have aome tassies cased 50/50 +, 90% humidty, 77 degrees........have one huge pin, and about 7 coming in, but they are all in the corners. The middle has fluffly mycel. coming through, not cobweb but it doesnt look like pins will be coming through. It looks a little dry, but I lightly misted it this morning..........the other pins are getting huge quick. My b+ casing has stringy mycelium coming through, haven't birthed yet, about 25% covered. Should I throw this in there now?

for the tassies, they will probably even out soon, as long as youre sure that its not cobweb mold.

I would hold off on birthing your b+

25% casing colonisation is fine - i usually only wait for the very first signs of rhizos and i put my casings in the terrarium - fluffy may mean too wet, but you'll find tassies to be VERY forgiving
