coolmist hose/setup Question

I have my FC up on a shitty plastic fake locker. its up to the hieght of my window(my window has UV filters in the glass) i use the natural daylight/night time as my light sources and ive had good ressults. Now i want to upgrade my FC. i built a much bigger one with a hose going to a implair sytle humdifier. I tested my setup and after abour an hour of use i heard a thumping noise from the hose. I've heard that the hose should be as direct to the FC as possible without any bends in it for air to get trapped. Mine is longer then needs to be and it coils in the middle going up to the FC. i know this is bad :P

anyway my basic question is what is the best way to configure the hose and coolmist. Should i place the coolmist above my FC so the air travels downward or anyother things like that.

im really high so sorry if i dont make too much sence. THANKS for your help!!

ya ive heard the noise too, i have my impeller coolmist bellow now so you dont collect water in it ya make the tube as short as you can so u dont have a kinks or anything

I just cut my hose so now its free of kinks
