Pressure cooker seal dry, cracked, or leaking?

Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil all over the seal...it will essentially rehydrate the ring, allowing you to get more use out of it.

damm i wish i had new this sooner one of the seals on my p cooker just tooks its last cooking yesterday maybe i could have stretched out its life span some
