Maybe someone can give me a hand?

Ok.....I'm havin' some trouble lately. I've cased b4 w/success, but my last several casings have all contaminated after the 1st flush. What's going on? I'm getting cobweb and green mold......I've tried to recover them, but haven't had any luck. Why is this happening now all of a sudden? Everything has stayed the same environmentally and sterile wise.......The ONLY thing i've done differently is enlarged my casings (more cakes and more surface area). Can anyone offer any advice as to why this problem is starting to occur?

I would like to fix this problem and begin getting 4 flushes or so again :smile: 
However, I need some advice.......or possible problems.......ect.

Thats just how it goes, you win some you lose some. try again. There is no 'absolute' answer to your question, try some lime, or use plain verm.

Look over your steriliztion a little more maybe, do u sterilize the subtrate? If u didnt then maybe u can try that out....hmmmm, not sure, its anyones guess.

take all your casings out of your terrarium and sterilize the entire thing. wash it with bleach.. "maybe" you have comtams inside the terrarium that keep infecting your casings.

I thought of something that nobody mentioned. You said you have been enlaging ur casings and using more cakes per casing. Therei s a possibility that some of the cakes u used was contaminated and u didn't see, or it was in it's early stages and not visible. I would say try a bunch of smaller casings and don't put all your eggs in one basket. Good luck.
