Indeed. Considering the lack of drugs in my life right now, I use the Shroomery almost entirely for social purposes.

When I do stumble into the cult forums, I am instantly jealous of ambitious noobs that grow insanely sucessful casings. Then I get inspired. Then I lose my ambition shortly thereafter.

Hahahah.  Same here.  Last three of my "friend's" attempts and failed miserably.  Horrible contams each time.  Even though it was all done in a sterile glovebox.  I'm forced to assume it was the spores.  :frown:

Especially since the contams where were the spores germinated.

Yeah, me neither -- I've thought about it, but..for the amount of times a year I trip (and unless you are really really dedicated and grow a lot -- the profit margin is low), and the harsh penalties...

eh I'll buy an 1/8th every now and then :shrug:

It has been ages since I have cultivated any psilocybes. Most recent things I've grown were edibles, and even that was like two years ago. I still pick wild mushrooms when in season though, been doing that for more than a decade, and I try to help out in mushroom hunting. The traffic is so slow there this time of year. So I do end up spending the majority of the time here in the community forums.

That's where I began my Shroomery career.  Looking for actives in NJ.  That lasted about 2 monthes, and I didn't find any.  I've been fooled a lot by honey mushrooms, (I know Gyms are real iffy ID-wise) and never found any pan subbs :frown:

I started off posting in Mushroom Cult. Forum, because I Googled psilocybe cubensis and it brought me here. It's been a love affair ever since. I wander around in the other forums, when I am bored, but mostly lurk and read posts and oogle at all of the grow logs.:drooling:Some of these growers on here are amazing!! Agar being in the top bracket, for sure! He's a freaking genius!
