dictatorial regime in Italy

Dear Brothers

sad news from Italy:
Berlusconi government has revealed itself such as truly dictatorial.
police is attackin' people anytime they democratically oppose themselves to his decisions.
this has happened in Val di Susa, where there has been a massacre of the whole population.
the same thing has happened in Acerra, where the whole population didn't want to permit the building of an incinerator near the city...and the zone has been militarized.
last sunday , it has been almost the same in Sicily, where people from all the part of Italy came to protest for the absurde and dangerous decision to build up a bridge between Sicily and Calabria.
I was there and I've seen the scene.
after a completely pacifical parade, all the people were in front of the municipal building, listening to the speakers...when police, with helmets and weapons, threw between the masses the first (how do you name the candles which produce smoke?) ..with an evident provocatorial intent.
I'm really afraid that here there's no much to do anymore, as democracy has gone..and here now we have a truly dictatorial regime.
moreover berlusconi (in agree and busines with USApresident bush) is the owner of almost all the televisions and newspapers and,as president of the council, he controls all the other media, so that all the peoples can know just what he likes.

not bad, I'm really happy to say that so many peoples answered to the last post.
thank you and.. be careful, as, such as in USA an Italy (and who knows in how many countries) Mafia's going to keep all the whole world.
they control economy, produce (sell and promote use of)weapons and reprime all the freedoms.
"somebody" says that finally there's no war anymore to be afraid of.
...but we're under an hidden kind of war: specially in rich countries.
everything will go on just until anybody rise up with his head.

Oh, what the same old story here also..
Cheer up mate, you're not alone country with the same problems.
Mine has kinda "changed" the social order recently, but it's just changing a sign-board. The gov people and clans earlier had been called "communists" now called "democrats". The name has changed but the faces stay the same and nothing changes with corruption, bribery, human rights violation and so on..

Some more, I'd like to join to your warnig about "being careful with your country". I don't know are there problemless countries on Earth but I'm sure some people don't aware what can they lose and how fast it can happen. For example, the USA today dramatically remind me the USSR I lived in at it's last years. This is not a similarity in political or economic aspects, just an undefinable sense of a vast oversphisticated system.. Well, only a person who was an eyewitness of a vast system breakdown can undestand me completely..
