Reishi/lingzhi with plums?

Went to the herbalist the other day to pick up my mushrooms for tea.  i usually drink it 2 times daily.  anyway they said that if i drink lots of it i should add red plums to the brew as the mushrooms, she says, is bad for the stomach.  this is where we got lost in the translation.  it almost sort of sounds like she is talking about stomach ulscers but im not sure.

any input?

it doesnt really worry me.  but like cigarettes eventualyl lead to cancer, this may possibly lead to ulcers.  im really curious what is in this mushroom that can cause "somthing" :smile:  maybe once my chinese improves :wink:

First off, whatver this substance is that your herbalist thinks may cause ulcers is probably isolated to the mushroom species within the supplement---Since IVe never heard of shroomns causing ulcers. They only come on progressively through indirect causes---this tea would have to drank daily to even condiser this theory your herbalist has.
