Could those who have successfully completed mescaline extractions please give an estimate of your yield and amount of dried material you started with? Just to give everyone an idea of the general potency rather than relying on the 0.8% figure.

Extracted 200 grams dried peruvian torch powder and ended up with 2400mg of mescaline hcl.

2400mg / 200000 mg = 0.012 = 1.2% yield

Percentages are easier, I believe. Only have to remember one number as opposed to two.

How much do people tend to pay for these kinds of quantities of cacti (200 grams dried peruvian torch was mentioned)? All the sources i've found have been quite expensive, ?50 for 100g or so.
Also.....
For those of us who can't get hold of the powdered stuff, how easy is it to powder it youself? presuming its dried already can this be done in a coffee-grinder/blender?

Oh, the irony. Read your post before posting it next time. I don't always point out the misuse of your/you're (etc). But if you're going to provide a one line insult, attacking someone's intelligence, show some effort.

Ignoring your humorous grammar, it isn't a matter of intelligence, but an example of the way the mind is conditioned for him and many others. We live in a society that deals heavily, and primarily with a base 10 number system. Not all cultures do this. However, the god damned ratio is nearly a percentage already, so who the hell cares? :smile:

come on 1 gram extracted material from 100 grams or 100/1 and we have the other factor of 1% yield. Actually he said 1.2% yield. For me it doesn't matter how complicated something is, if I care enough about anything I memorize it.
