good morning beetle space (- salvia type experience)
    #5175611 -

After a break of 3 whole days my tiny pipe containing a piece of cigarette paper with ~550 mics of salvinorin on it was lit; but before lighting it, my book was opened and the date was written down. Fri January 13, 2006. While holding I wrote, ?holding?; while exhaling I wrote, ?exhaling? etc.; almost as a form of meditation, in which what happens is noted as it happens.

Body was made of fat-rounded memory sponge while usually I am pretty thin feeling.

A version of reality built of light that played on my brain from my quivering eyes took the loops and lines of the writing and built an image of 3-d beetles with prismatic-colored carapaces (yellow and blue), all arranged similar to the paths of the cursively placed letters.

The room space was composed of multiple spaces all shiny of beetle backs and this extended comfortably even though the dose was higher than my norm. I was thrilled to see the effect and understand it ? to watch the track of eye quiver become "beetle space" by persisting frames of vision and seeing through this veil of persisted layers.

My wife entered the room urgently and put on bright lights, she was very concerned about where to put the staircase and needed to talk right away. A few minutes later the words stopped slurring and things made sense once again, even our plans to make a small house.

With an 11 inch tread and a 7 inch rise staircases are almost twice as long as their height and that doesn't account for the landings. Stairways with low overhead or tight corners make it difficult to move mattresses and furniture. Sometimes it's easier to figure out the stairway first then build the house around it.

If you view your experience as a tableau complete with interruption you might perceive a similarity with the tales of Noah and Orion and conclude that your wife is not happy with your habit.

The question then is (excuse me if this ramble is more for my benefit than yours) does Orion and Noah give up their habit (which appears to be one side of the coin).

In accepting that the mental and physical pleasure of a substance habit actually subtracts from the attention which could otherwise be spent on the wife and more of a shared reality; then who is being selfish? Is it the wife who insists Orion and Noah are making fools of themselves? Or is it Orion and Noah who enjoy their wine.

I, myself who has already dismissed the idea that female companionship is possible in this lifetime still feel the pressure to abandon 'wine'. Why is this?

I can only guess that the pleasure of substance is a gradual separation of our need for company, female or otherwise. Hence the pressure I see all around us to outlaw drug usage. I don't know if this spells the eventual loss of the Shroomery or if it will remain as a means of rehabilitation, but one thing that is clear to me is the abnormal incidences of terror (beyond paranoia)ocurring in pot usage. I could conclude that their is a psychic force bringing pressure to bear and I'm wondering if it is purely selfish. From the mythological perspective Should Orion and Noah continue to enjoy their 'wine' and realize the pressure to quit is a lobby to acquire more of their time?

not another stairway to female domination conspiracy?

well, I was able to help with the stairway(s)
as usual we will have 2! even with less than 1900sqft, just has to be like that.

anyway,
you are right about her sense of timing being bang on to express some peeve about my morning ablutions, but I do tend to expect that from the other side, i.e. they are from the other side.
usually. still I adore that other other side, & so as long as it is not a female domain contest, there is not going to be more than 2 sides to it altogether.
