9er tek - exploded grain

my wookie friend has spent some pints of brown rice trying out the 9er tek but it happened that many grains have exploded after the pressure cooking... he doesnt thinks its the ideal, how can he avoit that next time?

Too much water. Try equal parts of rice and water. Simmer for 20 minutes, then pressure cook.
