poo tea for grain saturation

well, i just tossed two handfulls of cow manure into approx 700 ml of water and cooked for ~5 mins.

after extensive stirring, i took my blender and gave it some good shots with it,
then added some calcium carbonate and fitlered the solution.

then the jars were prepared by mixing 150g rye with 150ml poo tea solution,
ill let them stand till tomrrow then pc them.

the water has got a distinctive brown color to it, so i guess quite some of the poo
and its nutes got dissolved and will be nicely added to the grains once pcd.

anyone tried that before?

i thought thats was why we saved our poo water from roadkills pasturizing tek...
i have 4 gallons of it that i was going to use for my next soak/simmer.

i put my poo water in milk jugs and put the cap on. theyve been sitting in my closet for about a month... bad idea?

as it basically is a super nutritious solution itll grow EVERYTHING
within no time.

man, i remember that one time i stored poo tea in a jar for about a month
and unscrewed it, i nearly had to throw up from the emerging smell .. omg man  :sad:

if u sterilize it inside jars im quite sure through that u could keep it for quite some (infinite) time.

I tried the poo soak only once for my grains and all of the jars exploded with a bread mold. It may have been a lacking in pc time. I went with the normal 90 minutes. Maybe I should've tried 2 hours or so.

How are they looking Ohmatic?

my agar of choice usually is PDA and i have tried using potato water with good success.
i would think it should work.

@ hotnutz
well as i said before, so far there is no noticeable difference between the poo and nonpoo jars.

they are both, due to improper incubation (a LOT to hot .. fixed that now) and a slow
growing isolate going rather slow.

as i fixed the incubation thing, things should come back to normal rather soon.

Have you thought about what nutrients are water soluble? And which and how much of these can be absorbed by the grain?And wether or not the grain can soak up enough nutes to do any good?

Regardless, he put the poo water with the poo particles in there. So it should have all of the nutes of the poo in there.

This idea just sort of seems pointless to me for allot of reasons. First wouldn't it make more sense to soak the grain or add something to the grain that actually has more nutrients than the grain itself? Second grain colonizes as fast as possible by itself, so whats the need? Also if you want the advantages of poo, why not just spawn some?

He is just adding the nutes from H-Poo to the grain. By liquefying the poo and all of its inherent nutes. He then adds this to the grain.
Theory is that the grain will have even more nutes than usual, so it will colonize faster.
I am pretty sure he will spawn this poo/grain to poo. Just an attempt to get the grain jars to colonize faster by introducing even more nutes.
