Poo Tea Useful?
    #1296586 -

A friend of mine 2 states over was talking about using the water left over from horse poo pastueraziation to beef up standard pk tek cakes. The tea was several weeks old by the time he got around to using it but he figured 15psi for 60 mn would take care of anything nasty that may have collected.

Well his results were very disapointing 14 pk jars 2 salvaged 3 qts of millet wasted. Weird thing was the first week the myceleium was actually growing it wasn't until the second that the green nasty showed its face in every jar.

Not being fond of wasting his time growing green stuff my friend was wondering if anyone else had used poo tea in place of water (dasani always seemed to work best for him) and if they had experiened similar problems or if the contam came from somewhere else. Seems he's been having a lot of trouble with contams lately and unsure what the cause is. He ordered new syringes from Hawks Eye and had similar contams with the first generation spores which seems really odd trying to figure out where they're coming from so he can eliminate the problem.

Thanks

I use poo water on my wifes flowers. It makes them pretty. My wife smiles

assuming that there are no increased contam risks (by using fresh poo juice or something) would this make a big difference in yields?

Personally I just didn't want to throw out the poo tea. I was curious to know if anyone had noticed any increase in yeild after using poo tea? Is it worth the hassle? or should I just use it to water other plants

Thanks
