resisting fungal growth...blarg...
    #5084255 -

well, i was happier than hell to hear that a new hydroponics store opening up within two blocks of my apartment...so i went in and tried pickin up some stuff cuz im jus startin out with cultivation, and i have spores in the mail. Picked up some vermiculite and some cocoa coir...or at least i thought...i knew i was supposed to not get the fibrous stuff...but everything about this stuff looked right and it was dirt cheap...so i didnt think twice about it really. The more i think about it the more i think i got the wrong stuff...so i was gonna take a lil bit from it and soak it to see...and i saw the package and read it...it says it resists bacterial, mold, and fungal growth???!!!??? it says nothin is added to it bla bla bla...so does all cocoa do this?? The exact name of it is Coconut Fiber Potting Medium from Down To Earth inc. so now i dont want to open it so i can at least get my money back, even if it isnt a lot...but its all the place had...any advice?
