Not sure whats going on with your PF jars, maybe some pics or more info would help. As far as the PCing goes, W/ grain I like to open once the pressure drops and shake my jars, then I put them back in and wait till everything is cool enough. Or if you have a glove box stick em in there to cool. If it's the PF jars you'll be doing then just wait till they're cool. GL

i just started so im new also. I find when this happins most of the water im my jars evaporated when in the PC. also I would get a fast growing mushroom to start with. I always had really good luck with Blue Meanies. also I would make sore the verm is very loose im the jars. I have been using coffee filters with the rims from the lids.

Cray- the information is not true.  Most jars show germination within 4 days, HOWEVER, it CAN take up to two weeks to just SHOW some growth. 

Seeing as the poster has hit the two week mark its safe to say the jars are definitely not looking good.  Im looking more in the direction of water content then anything.  It could be an invisible contam, but, most problems stemming from BRF deal with moisture content.  Since you have one jar thats showing some growth the spores are good, does this jar look any different then the others?  Like is there more condensation in that jar?

If i were you id start work on some new jars.  Leave the old ones if you want just to see what happens, but have a new project in the works.  You never know what may happen but its nice to have a backup plan :smile:  Good luck!!
