Air Marshalls are very good shooters.

I think they get recruited from the SS.

also, if the guy is bipolar, who lets him get on the plane without his medicine. and i dont think it was on the jetway this happened in mid air cause the flight was bound for orlando not here in miami.

No, InTheFlesh -- It happened on the ground. The plane had just flown in to Miami from South America and landed before continuing to Orlando. He ran off the plane claiming to have a bomb and they shot him outside the plane on the airstrip when he reached into his bag.
