One Pint Jars?

I recently bought all my supplies to grow some shrooms. I got everything ok (amazingly cheaper than I had expected), but i got 1 pint Kerr jars instead of 1/2 pint... that was all the grocery store had... if possible i dont want to have to buy more... hard on the old wallet. Are there changes that need to be made to the verm/BRF recipe. I heard that the amount of water your supposed to use is different. Thanks for your help.

1 pints jars are ok if you're willing to wait for them to colonize. Most people say they take over a month to colonize completely. Up to you. I had teh 1/2 pint jars and I felt they took too long...

i use 1 pint jars its no big deal just double the recipe they take a little longer but you get better yeilds and if you case you only need 1-1 1/2 cakes which is less likely of contams that way you wont be mixing cakes put about 1/2cc of solution in 4 points on holes in each jar

Be sure to check your jars to see if they're tapered, or you'll have a hell of a time getting the cake out in one piece. Just use a little more spore juice to get them going along a little quicker.
