So... I got some extra pint jars.

Well, while I was getting some half-pints about a week ago, I stumbled upon a broken box of half-pint jars. So I says to myself "Well, I'll just pick-up other box on this HALF PINT shelf." It turned out to be a box of pint jars. I didn't realize this until a week later when I went to go use them. So i went out and got some pint jars and everything is fine and dandy, but is there anything i can do with these lonely pint jars? Any great pint jar teks or print teks the use jars? I'd hate to see this $10 box-o-jars be wasted just because I didn't keep the recipt. Any help would be greatly appreciated by me and my wallet. :smile:

You could do grain, or you could do PF. PF pints take a little while longer, ok a WHILE longer, but its better than having them collect dust.

HEY MAN, THE EXACT THING HAPPEND TO ME, they aren't even widemouth :frown:
That's ok, cause I'm doing casing...

But do the rice tek, it takes less time to colonize fully... like around 7 days, even if its a pint jar

Do you mean the 9er cooked rice tek? I was looking at that one since the substrate picture looks airy for fast colonization. Sorry, I'm a bit new to this. I've only done straight PF tek before.
