it was a monday afternoon and i had just finished classes. I was heading over to my girlfriends to hang out for the rest of the day and i had a really good idea. We had wanted to go to fright fest before it was too late and it just so happened to be halloween, the last day. So I said we were going since we both had the entire afternoon/nite free. On the ride there I made a detour to my house and there i ate 1.9g of mushrooms and my gf ate 1.6. We immediately departed for six flags, which was about a 30 minute journey. By the time we pulled into the entrance I could find the psilocybin creeping up my spine and i felt mild giggles and physical relaxation.
Once we got into the park it started to kick in a little more for the both of us. When we arrived it was still light out and the frestivities had not really kicked off yet. We started walking around trying to find a ride to go on. Most of the rides had lines and we were in no mood for waiting so we wandered around the park. As the sun began to set, we sat down in front of this giant lake. the lake was perfectly still and all the trees that surrounded the lake reflected brilliantly. there was a railing right in front of the bench we were sitting on. when i stared at everything my eyes could see at once, it all began to morph onto one dimension. Then, out of the center of it all, it began to divide and all you could see in the middle was a bright white light. I didnt let this visual last too long but it was rather impressive.
The trees across the lake were tall and full. When I stared at them long enough they began to turn into giant troll gnome like creatures. It appeared as if they all had weapons and were some kind of mysterious force guarding the lake. there was one tree surrounded by the greenest grass and leaves. When I started down it looked like a field that would go on forever.
Probably one of the most intense adventures of the night was riding Nitro the roller coaster. We were both well into our trip and i swear the ride made me laugh and cry harder then you could imagine. It was one of the most intensely amazing experiences ive had tripping, or ever.
All around the park six flags has employees dress up in crazy costumes and their purpose is just to scare people. they got my gf every time it was hilarious. everytime i saw one of them i could not stop laughing hysterically. people mustve looked at me and been like,"wow, that kid has some problems".
all in all it was an amazing time. once the sun was down, the park was crazy. the decorations were awesome and the whole atmosphere of the park was gloomy and halloweenish.
i used to think the more mushrooms you eat the more intense the trip was going to be. i was very wrong. ive learned its about who youre with, youre personal mood, the setting, and some other personal factors. i started doing drugs after my dad died and i was always looking for that one dramatic experience. i tripped so many times and so many of them were worthless. with the right people and the right atmosphere, ive had better trips on 1/2 eights then i have on a 1/4. mushrooms are what you want them to be. if you believe you can, then you can. if you believe you cant, then you cant.
