Freaking out squares, is a HIPPIE SACRAMENT!

See title,

I find such acts spiritual, and one of the things that sets my faith apart from Christianity.

I grew up in Utah, and started to smoke, to FREAK OUT the Mormons.

It is a HARD spiritual practice to explain, even to The Shroomery Staff... as it IS practically trolling... but it is a SPIRITUAL PRACTICE... a long standing Hippie Ritual... one I hold dear, and I suspect other hippies can relate to my feelings.

FREAK OUT THE SQUARES!

Thoughts?

I started to smoke as an act of rebellion too. Then I found I liked getting stoned so much, it's not so rebellious for me anymore. Not that pissing off a few Mormons doesn't have a certain appeal to me -it's icing on the cake!  :grin:

I like that, although sometimes it's hard enough just living the day to day hustle. I guess having a job isn't very hippy of me. :smile:

Actually, it proves my point nicely.

Freaking out squares, is a nice way to live your life, and see the world.

You never know where you'll end up.

But as long as you are, as Wiccan put it, "Fighting the GOOD fight"... you can sleep at night.

I think the Hippie need to freak out squares is a LARGE reason why this community needs OTD.
