Plant Sciences project, need a subject.

"Based on an article, website, TV program, ect, that you have seen or read, present a 5-10 minute presentation to the class on why your topic is of value to our society."

First thought was marijuana or hemp or but he said he gets those every year and would like if we did something more origonal.

Can anybody think of something interesting I can do it on? I'm stuck on ideas.

I'm with dr gonz but if for some reason that doesn't work, then you could always do recycling or environmental preservation.  Then you could tie it in with hemp.  :shrug:

You could talk about impeaching George Bush and how that would help society, even on a global scale.

hmm, it has to be plants? Because if you could do mushrooms you could talk about the medicinal powers of reishi, or how edible fungus can be used to support efficient and self sustaining agriculture a la staments... that would be a cool project
