It's his JOB to ban people who flame others within the gentle confines of the Pub.

Does anyone else think it's funny that this thread was started here in WA&F, moved to the Pub, and then moved back to WA&F?

Yes, but it is unnecessary to ban someone over such a minor infraction without telling them to cut it out. It sure would save a lot of trouble if that happened.

Well I'm sure that if members quit making a sport out of pushing the limits of Pub behavior, the mods who work there wouldn't feel like they were 'on duty' all the time and could just sit back and particpate happily.

Calling someone a bitch (without having any prior history of causing problems) is hardly a heinous crime warranting a ban. A quick comment to them asking them to behave properly would suffice.

I honestly don't even remember this. I just went to the Mod forum and I didn't see any history of any discussion about Irradiated_Feces. I may have sent him a friendly warning before we documented it. I don't know how that turned into a week long ban, though.

I could very well be wrong about the Hanky thing. I just read that they're implementing a new ban system, and everyone is getting a clean slate.
