would a mod please ban the person (kotik) who left me a bunk trade rate, and remove the rating.
It's obviously left as a revenge for the PLUR.

I think anyone found to have left a bad trade rating should be perma-banned. It isn't funny, and it isn't mature. Trade ratings should be taken seriously, and this is starting to get out of hand.

PLUR is a hippie saying meaning Peace Love Unity Respect. OTDers use it as a way to knock on Pub folk.
Some OTDers went and rated Pub frequenters with a 1 shroom rating that said nothing but PLUR.
The Pub people are retaliating with similar 1 shroom ratings and have apparently stooped so low as to take it to trade ratings.

Pathetic at best.

Yeah, there is. I just find it ironic that you guys love to gang up on people with 1 shroom PLUR ratings, and then go crying to the admins when you get a bad trade rating from it. Not everyone is as rating savvy as you and I. And bad trade ratings get deleted, not a bannable offense.. the first time.

well, I guess you and I have been members of different message
boards these past few years...

it's funny how the whole of OTD has a vastly stricter view of the
rules than most of the site moderators.

I guess, for us, we have to know the rules. we don't have quite
the same leeway when it comes to inconsistent judgements and
decision making incongruous with precedent and stated rules.

Keep in mind I've never given a bad rating (if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything is my motto) BUT

BUT trade ratings are different, a whole other thing. These are very serious and bunk ratings are a serious matter. Considering the people getting them sort of provoked it, maybe a ban isn't necessary, but a STERN WARNING.

Any bunk ratings must be removed, it isn't fair to the person. General ratings mean jack shit, everyone knows this.

So thus far we've concluded that it's a lame puppet (bannable offense #1), it's also responsible for more than one bunk trade rating (bannable offense#2,3,4....however many bunk trade rates he left)

Oh, and the rating is still there.



Any mods or admins care to do something....anybody?
