my one cake started pinning there about half a cm long but they brown They were at the bottom of the cakse that i let site on perlite for 1 day Now i flipped it over any advice ? they have little caps But seem dry

flip them back upright and keep them sitting on the perlite. if you think their dry take your empty syringe and inject some water in the center of teh cake. boil and cool the water first; or try pf's inner reservoir tek

Should i definatly leave the pins On the perlite they are at the centre middle so they wont see light and they will abort
And another thing I have handle the top The side at the bottom Now abit so i doubt it will pin there :)

And do i inject with a needle just in the centre and how muhc :)

I don't know how this affects yield, as I don't keep track of how much I'm producing. But, I flip my cakes all kinds of ways. Wherever they get pins, I turn that side up. I even lay them on their side, when they get a lot of goodies on one side of the cake. I don't think it shortens the life of the cakes, as I'm achieving 4-5 flushes on my cakes before they succumb to contam's...sometimes I just toss them to make room for new ones, even though they still look viable. ymmv

i didnt understand most of that but... when you remove your cakes from the jars put them on your perlite they will start to pin like yours did. do not flip them over. you dont even need to touch them at all. if theres pins on your cake right now face them upward and dont touch it for 7 more days. if you inject water try 3-5cc if its a 1/2 pint cake and yes inject right in the center and try to get the needle halfway into the cake right in the middle. but keep your pins facing the light.

1 more thing I bought my self a fish tank pump for air exchange today and last night my whole terrium smelt like rubber i doubt this is any good then i made a bong and selaed it with glue and now it smells like glue
