See the little bump at the bottom left of the pic? I have lots of these and yet some of the shrooms are huge! Are these tons of small ones all aborts? I even have fat shrooms forming on the bottom I just found. Help.
For the shrooms growing on the bottom I flipped a pizza holder thing for delivery in the center of the pizza upsideown and stapped it into the cake and have it suspended in the air now so that way the bottom shrooms have room to grow and stuff. Lol hope stabbing the cake isnt to bad. Oh wellz rite?

You could have easily found the characteristics of aborts by reading, bud. Aborts are generally identified as having caps that turn much darker than the other mushrooms. Plus, they straight up stop growing. You're more capable of telling whether you have aborts than any of us, as you can easily observe the growth, or lack thereof, from day to day.
From what I can tell, you may have one or two. But what does it matter? They'll be aborts regardless of whether or not someone told you. No offense, but this kinda seemed like a wasted thread. I mean in 2 days time your mushrooms will be mature and you'll be able to easily tell which is which, but it's not like it matters because you pick and dry them all anyways.

Have you been misting or keeping the RH too high in your fruiting chamber without FAE? Excess moisture gathering on the young mushrooms can cause aborts as I understand it.
Check your RH,find out if you have condensation control it carefully with FAE, and next time it might not be as bad, or with FAE increase you might even save some if they havent fully aborted. For now let them finish maturing see how it comes out at harvest time (when the veil begins to tear away or after it's free as you prefer) dry and eat the small ones too and learn from your mistakes.
Have fun, and remember to be patient. If you get frustrated you'll lose that patience and make more mistakes.

No aborts. But this doesn't mean you couldn't stall developing fruitbodies. Pick your fruits off the cakes leaving these tiny primordia alone they should bolt after several days if you haven't stalled them. GL

I used a closet once setup a nice little lab trouble was all the shit that was in there ended up in the bedroom that pissed off the GF then I ended up dumping her as she was getting in the way of my sterile culture technique! Ya I got priorities too!!!"
