flipping cakes with pins on them
    #1972847 - 10/02/03 03:09 PM (13 years, 2 months ago)

i just got my first pins (ever...yea!) and i was looking at the cakes and noticed that there were a bunch of pins growing out of the bottom of the cake and into the geolite...i flipped the cake over, becaue there were no pins on the  top of the cake...this wont affect anything will it?  and one of the pins has bruising on it...do you think it will abort? ive got 7 cakes and only 2 of them have started pinning...but im stoked out...yea :mushroom2:

dont know about the bruising thing but flipping them should not hurt them. Also, make sure you double end case those cakes and dunk between flushes for maximum yield

A FOAF had a cake develop a pin on the underside on its second flush that damn near flipped it over so he turned the cake upside down and every thing was all good!!
