Amazing moving. Religion, physics, brain chemistry. Easy to follow. A must see!

This movie has been disussed alot here in the past. Look around and you'l see alot of people dislike the 25k year old Ramtha warrior.

The lies about Dr. Emoto's water crystals also contribute to people's dislike of that movie.

True, Emoto was misrepresented a bit, and his discoveries exaggerated...

Although he DID take those water crystal pictures, it is just a peer reviewed photo journal, and not a clinical study. Even Emoto himself knows, and admits this. It is hardly proof.

To be fair, the photo journal was peer reviewed by one of the more credible of the alternative science groups. Emoto did take those pictures, and there is little reason to believe he is lying how his results were captured.

Emoto encourages ANYBODY to attempt to repeat his findings.

It is a cool theory...

People have tried to repeat his finding without success. Emoto has since been invited to reproduce the results by a couple of universities. He's declined.

He's no better than Ms. Cleo...

Actually, to be fair, I've seen many of those tests, and they are MORE biased than Emoto himself... and hardly peer reviewed... but that may simply mean I've read the wrong links.

And to be FAR OUT, for shits and giggles, let me add, if water reacts to emotion, it surely would give EACH scientist their desired results.

Woah...

That's the whole point of my post.

Emoto KNEW IN ADVANCE what words were taped to the water and so when he looked, naturally he found the crystals that matched the expected findings out of the myriad different types of crystals.

Had his experiment been done according to a scientifically valid double blind experimental protocol, the scientists would not know what words were taped to the bottles of water before they were frozen and would not know what the expected crystals should look like ahead of time.

When the experiment is done properly, nothing has been found.

Emoto is a smart man and certainly versed in the Scientific Method. This means his reported results were out and out lies told with intent and forethought for the purpose of selling more copies of his book (and the ridiculous movie) to the blind masses.

As the existence of this thread demonstrates, he succeeded on both counts.

I have yet to see a debunker as credible as Emoto, or one that was reviewed. I imagine it is only a matter of time.

I do not disagree, I am simply waiting for a more proper debunking.

'till then, it is fun to defend the crazy guy.

There is nothing to debunk as his results cannot be reproduced and he declines to demonstrate them; i.e. he is a liar.

This hasn't stopped him from making millions selling books and movie deals, and that gullible people incapable of the simplest bit of critical thought continue to throw money at him doesn't even surprise me any more.

I'm in the wrong business.

Maybe Logic is an amazing documentary.  Loved every second, but then again, my favorite author happens to be Robert Anton Wilson so.........

And I agree with the Ramtha comment.  The movie would have been great if it didn't have JZ Knight and Ramtha kooks in it.  Oh well.

what the bleep do we know?

that movie ran like a recruitment for a cult.  you can tell they want your money.

in fact, one of my friends has given that "movement" of people quite a bit of money (for a poor college student funds anyway) attending seminars and breifings and whatnot.

id rather be a part of the shroomery cult.  :hypno:

Yea, maybe someday I can have my warrior spirit cult make a movie and pretend to be a group of disinterested people.
