Worm castings help.

I would like to take a try at worm castings. Unpasturized and unsterilized. I read a post using the castings but it didn't say anything about miostening them before adding the rye. How much water would you add? I am going to use equel parts of rye to castings. Good idea? Any help would be appreciated. Ive heard good things about worm castings why aren't people posting more on this topic?

yeah I'm just trying them for the first time with straw.
seems like they need some moistening, not lots or it turns to mud.

Yeah i haven't seen much on water content for the castings. There was a post by bleuboxo on a past thread that spoke highly of worm doo but never really got into talking much about making sure the castings had moisture. I would imagine they would have to be quite moist for the rye to take over.
