adding more perlite?

im having trouble getting my perlite to get the humidity back up fast. im using a bag to seal the top of my container due to the lid being shit. but do you think it would be a problem if i added more perlite in there? because i have 2 pins that look pretty nice, and im afraid they might die due to the lack of humidity. ...

and this may be a stupid question.. but... can i cut the shower on in my bathroom, and let it get all steaming and stuff in there like a sauna? if i could do that, it would be pretty cool.

Sry bud. the perlite is damp... i was thinking maybe it could have gotten a little bit dry. but.. it just started to take long to get the perlite to humidify again after fanning.

I dont think its the size of the perlite layer but how you use it.
I have less than an inch layer and it is fine.
