sometimes i get these weird euphoric rushes

sometimes when i get excited i'll get this mad lil rush and i'll do something physically like with my arms or something, like air drumming a real fast blast beat or something and then it goes. is this weird? like it's like some intense feeling and i have to tighten some muscles and shit and just like feel it. i dunno. maybe im fucked up.

I know what your talking about, lately I've been experiencing spontaneous feelings of immense well being, it's being triggered like a D?j? Vu,and associated with serious mental imagery.

I've been getting something like that for the past few years, and I've asked a few people about it but they didn't seem to know what I meant.

Sometimes I'll just get a "rush" of well-being. It feels almost exactly like the rush I get while coming up on MDMA...though not quite as intense. Just like with MDMA it starts in my chest and moves out to my extremities. I say it isn't AS intense as MDMA...but it's still QUITE intense! This has happened most often when I am completely sober - usually after I've abstained from any drugs for a week or two (though it has happened once or twice while high on weed).

I've been wondering if there's any known way a brain could just decide to dump a bunch of serotonin or something.

YES! Exactly! I stop whatever I'm doing when it happens and just stand/sit there staring off into space as my mind is flooded with imagery and fleeting concepts. It is very much like Deja Vu, except with a physical manifestation instead of just mental.

no. i'm just kinda deranged. i used to have OCD but i mostly grew outta that around the time i grew outta depression and then i thought i was bipolar for a while but i think it's just ADHD

I get that but I also drink expresso every morning to wake up.It just means you have a very high energy level. I think its a good thing.

I'd say its probably ADHD if you've been diagnosed with that. I have it and i experience exctly what you're talking about at least once or twice a day.

I used to have the same deal for awhile but haven't had it happen in a couple years. It kind of feels like you're falling, too, right? Even though you're just sitting or standing in place. It's probably related to serotonin even though it's more intense than a normal serotonin rush.

Wow I'm not the only one! This used to happen to me all the time...especially when I was younger. Abastaining from drugs brings a definatite increase of frequency in these rushes. Its like an uncontrollable spasm. And it feels awesome! Does anything trigger these for you? Temperature changes are the biggest for me.

I get them too, good music seems to trigger them for me. but they occasionally occur spontaneously

i've never had rushes like that but i have been feeling
10x happier since i stopped drinking soda and started
drinking Celestial Seasonings teas.
