Semilanceata &  Amanita muscaria var muscaria in UK 18th..ish Sept

*** All mushrooms in this post (and my other posts) are hunted for photography purposes only ***

Habitat: Edge of small wood.
Location: Peak District UK
Temp: 17C
Conditions: Dry and sunny



Other mushrooms near by....

Growing on an old stump with grass and moss covering the edges.

I've been picking Amanita muscaria in the Sheffield area for a couple of weeks now.

Haven't got round to checking my lib patches up in the Peaks yet,
looks promising though judging from the pics  :smile:

heyguys i ws recently out for a nature walk/hunt inmy back woods and i came across about 5 bed of shrroomms that im to to sure about. they were growing ona small stump and on wet leaves and they'r orange to bron onthe top middle section the stem is hollow onthe thickerside and yellowish in parts, however underthe shroom is whiteishbage and i was wondering if all shroms had ot be purple under it

Great pics SalviaEngland. I picked about 600 libs last week and took the lot to a party on the weekend. Yay, happy days! I went up again this morning but i only found 3:confused: Uh, where did they all go??? I guess it's been too warm and dry the past few days.

I'm going to have to borrow a camera next time I go up, my phone camera's not too good. There's been some really excellent photos this year. Keep snapping everyone, the pics are great :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

I think it is a good season this year, there has been quite a bit of rain at the end of the summer. For so many years we have a very dry september.
