yeah goldwisefish is fine...he's on irc and we're in some of hte same channels together..

though gold, as people have already said, the implementation of the number of posts you make in order to get into the gathering forum in my opinion is a sound one...it does try to seed out the would be pigs who want to know where hte next gathering is sort of thing.

irc and the bb move really different from each other...just don't make any comments like we do in #Otd cause it's not tollerated as such here :grin: the board is moderated tightly and bannings can occur if flames are thrown at another user

I only asked how many posts were needed and I got jumped on by more than one member, like I said it's bad vibes.

I never asked to join the gathering forum even though I'd have liked to, I only asked how many posts I needed so the hostility was uncalled for in my opinion.

If you look at some of the posts i was jailed before i was tried.

And as far you saying dont make comments like we do in #otd well yeah that's all fine and dandy, I wasnt planning on doing. I know there's a time and place for that sort of thing.

I like the post count requirement for the Gathering forum not because I worry about cops, but because I worry about people who want to go to gatherings just because they think they'll be able to score lots of drugs rather than meet a bunch of awesome shroomerites. :rolleyes:
