m00nshine is currently vacationing in Maui. Rumor has it he got rolled by drunken natives and is currently prostituting himself in order to pay for airfare back to the mainland but he's having trouble juggling a hairon addiction. He won't be back for a long while.

I was just thinking the other day.. "Where the hell has Goobs been lately..." I was going to make a thread in OTD about it. So what were you doing in NO? Volunteering? Visiting? I'm assuming you live in Florida...

Did you go with an aid group or just go with friends or what?

Either way, that's really cool that you went to help those people.

I went with a friend left with two trucks and came back with one...there was a poor family in Miss that had nothing...we helped clean up their 'house'*just wreckage on and near a slab) for two days...bought them food, clothes etc.

there were a lot of people doing what they could but a lot of residents that were left in La and Miss just expected the govt and relief workers to do it all..

some people cant even do for themselves when the time comes when it is themself and them alone to count on...I swear some people just give up and die rather than work..

its gonna take a long long time to rebuld in a lot of places..

If you feel like posting some details on what was going on down there that would be interesting. The news is obviously biased.
