UPDATE 1-Major power outage hits Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES, Sept 12 (Reuters) - A major power outage hit Los Angeles area on Monday and officials scrambled to determine the cause.

"There's a major disruption," Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells said. "It's a widespread power disruption."

A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power said it was not immediately known how many customers or businesses were without power but that the utility was trying to pinpoint the problem.

"We are trying to get a handle on it," spokeswoman Kim Hughes said, adding: "We think it's a transmission problem."

A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department said outages were reported across downtown Los Angeles, Koreatown, North Hollywood, Burbank and in the San Fernando Valley. Officials said power had not been lost at Los Angeles International Airport.

ugh...I had just gotten off the 405 at Santa Monica
when I noticed the lights.

I got right back on the freeway.

People can barely drive here, let alone try to navigate
a 4 way intersection with 4 lanes going each way.

The people want us to use our imagination to think up new ways the terrorists could strike.

What better way then causing a breakdown in law and order in the black areas of the country. They are effectively releasing hordes of black tribes to wreck havoc on our infrastructure.
