Apparently I've fought in a war?

The American Legion won't stop pestering me. They think I have served this country in the armed forces in some war or another. I'm 19, and I've been getting mail from these guys since I was 16. I got this cert a few months ago from them and thought I might share it:

Maybe I should go in there in full hippie attire, with all anti-war kinda stuff on. When they question my being there I will whip out my membership card or whatever and tell them they invited me!

Maybe you're right. I mean, being 5 years old and fighting in Operation Desert Storm was an extremely traumatic experience so my mind probably just pushed it out of my memory.
