Not long compared to you guys, I went on a 2 hour drive approx. for the Blood Brothers... SOOOO worth it

Drove from Dallas to Birmingham, AL and back in one night to see a show last year. That was something else. The last 100 miles home I was pretty much hallucinating, and no, we had no shrooms, etc.

During the Tool Lateralus tour I made several trips, but none were more than a few hours. I was dying to go see Tool/King Crimson (can you say HOLY SHIT!) in Colorado, but hurt my back and could not survive the drive. Missing that concert is a scar on my heart that will never heal.

Seeing your favorite bands over and over again on a tour is about the most fun anyone can have. Instead of the empty feeling you get leaving the venue and knowing you'll not see the band again for a long time (if at all), you look forward to the next show.

Whoever made the Miami to Seattle shot, I tip my hat to ya.
