invention part two
    #4643570 - 09/10/05 08:21 PM (18 years, 6 months ago)

If you dont know what i'm talking about; see post titled Invention, for the long version or here's the short version. Invented some new pool maintenence device. The people from the third party patent and marketing service company were to be calling me today with their product evaluation, so they do.

They had some good news and bad, I'll start with the good. They like the idea and are prepared to file for a US patent along with several international patents. If we act now the product should be developed by late november and ready to market to corporations. The bad news is it takes an initial investment of 900 bills on my part to take care of patent lawyer services and various engineering issues, blah. I guess I might as well take a chance at striking gold, so to speak, with only a 900 dollar investment to lose.

No real point here, just extremely excited about it and felt like tellign someone.

Shit man, awesome news! Just do it and don't look back. A few years from now every pool in the nation will have your ingenious invention floating around in it. $900 is a very small price. A few patent lawyer firms I was looking at charge $400 just to do a patent search, and at least $2500 for additional services.

If you want the name of them let me know as I'm not sure if I can post that here..but then again I dont see why not.
