Okay, this bullshit happened to me three times today. I write up something hella long, which of course takes a long time, and when i'm finally done and i try to post it, i get this fucking message that tells me to use the previous button, which i do, but when i go back everything is erased.

I just wasted an hour and a half for a new post. And it happened earlier when i used the "quote" button.

This has never happened before, at least not with this message showing up.


Is there like a time limit you need to respect when you're writing a post??? :pissed:

I've been getting this form no longer valid shit for the last few days too.

not everyone time i use the back button on my browser, but every once in awhile. its firefox, btw.

Yep, three times for me also on 9/10, and I was selectively quoting from a book on one occasion. I e-mailed Ythan who wrote that it is gonna take some time to rectify the problem. The time for the 'form to be valid' is supposed to be 6 hours, not 6 minutes! (or whatever it actually is). I can't find his response at the moment, but I saw your post. He wrote something about hitting 'quick reply' (?) before hitting 'submit.'

When I write a post of any substance, I now copy it into my browser memory, let it nuke my post, hit the back button, paste it back in and hit submit.

I lost some sizable posts too.

Hey guys,

This should have been fixed a few days ago when I raised the session lifetime on the server to six hours. Apparently it still doesn't work for everybody though. I've disabled the form check for now so this problem shouldn't reoccur. Please report any further errors!
