found san pedro

i found a huge patch of san Pedro's about 8 feet tall and like 11 of the growing and branching out. ill probably only take about 6 feet of one and you'd barely tell, anyways i was wondering if thats enough... (accidentally put it in salvia section)

6 feet will be way more than a dose. How thick is the branch?

Oh, yeah, by the way, your charma may take a hit from stealing that cactus.
Ask the owner if you can have a few cuttings to propagate for yourself. If it is really a huge pedro, he's sure not to mind just one or two branches.

woops i meant 1 foot.. i was wondering how do you grow it from cutting how bi does the cutting have to be and how fast does it growq.... and im 99 persent sure its san pedro, i mean it is a common cacti right? and looks just like it?

From what I have read, 1 foot should be enough for one person to have a decent trip. Have fun, I havent tried it yet myself, but hope to in a bit!

Mjshroomer's teq ******very easy******

i would use about a foot. i think a good dose would be a foot and about 3 inches think. there are some good teqs. i used MJshroomers and it was perfect. i would also get a pic up and get it identified for sure. you dont want to eat/drink something and not be 100% sure.

To grow from a cutting, you only need a piece about 6" long 2-3" in diameter. Let the cut end(if it's a top cut) or ends(if it's a center cut) heal up to form a tan colored tough skin like cork. The you can plant it in some soil right side up or just lay it on it's side in the soil. It will root in no time and begin to grow.

San Pedro is a Trichocereus. Once me and a friend thought we found a couple pedro's but they were the inactive species Cereus. Both look very similar, just thought I'd point that out.
