Just inoculated my jars!!!

okay  i just inoculated 12 jars with golden teachers and i used rye flour and verm. i couldn't find rice flour. well  i bought the golden teachers about  month ago and the just got here because the order got lost. well he sent me 2 syringes instaed of one and i didnt have anything to do with the 2nd so i used it to i put 2cc's in all the jars 1cc on each side. i was woundering that since i put in more that if the jars will colonize faster? i don't think they will but i was just woundering. :smile:

Yea it should definitly help with colonization speed, but be careful about too much moisture in those jars. i just made 8qt jars and will be innoculating with GT's tonite :smile: :smile: :laugh:

awesome i'm a little impatient since i've been waiting so long! this si my second time making the jars not innoculating them just making them and this time they turned out better because i used store bought flour instead of making my own! LOL!

Yup. Store bought flour has fell victim to oxidization. Home ground flour = more nutes.

i did do that but i found out that if you make at home you will need to add more water and i didn't so it was to dry so i dumped it out

The perfect recipe for 1/2 pints:

1/4 cup fresh made brown rice flour
1/2 cup vermiculite
50 cc's water


I found that 60 cc's like the tek recommends made puddles in the bottom of my jars..

And look where my "tek" gets ya in 26 days:

Dude i only innoc i cc in huge 3+ liter jars...2cc`s not gonna help you
It might speed things up if you are innocing karo tek mycellium innoculam
