hey every body. I was wondering how long could i kepp a fully inoculated jar, because i don't have much room in my terrarium, and it's might be a while before i setup a better one. and does leaving the cakes in the jars while pins grow a problem for it? Thanks for any help

Why not just make a poor mans style setup so that you can fruit that one cake? It's totally easy. Any plastic container will work, especially one of those big Kraft peanut butter containers. Just put the cake on the lid, spray down the inside of the container and set it down onto the lid. Remove once a day to supply fresh air. Easy, peazy...japaneesy. Even a pod owner could pull it off!!!

thanks for the idea. But i'd still like to know if it's better to let the cakes pin while still in the jars, or just "let them go" in the terrarium?

Hey!!! I thought only I answered that way!

I must say, you're right though. People just don't want to take the time to find the answers.
