Why not just make a poor mans style setup so that you can fruit that one cake? It's totally easy. Any plastic container will work, especially one of those big Kraft peanut butter containers. Just put the cake on the lid, spray down the inside of the container and set it down onto the lid. Remove once a day to supply fresh air. Easy, peazy...japaneesy. Even a pod owner could pull it off!!!

thanks for the idea. But i'd still like to know if it's better to let the cakes pin while still in the jars, or just "let them go" in the terrarium?

Hey!!! I thought only I answered that way! I must say, you're right though. People just don't want to take the time to find the answers.
-------------------- You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation.
