you can put the fully colonized jars in your refrigerator while you wait for the others to complete. That way you don't have a chance of them pinning while still in the jars.

If you have a bunch of jars you may even want to case some of the faster ones and then birth it with the rest of the jars.
It will give you a chance to try caseing which will give better yeilds.
