I've always been fascinated with the peyote cactus. I was wondering if anyone knew where it would be possible to find it. Or just the mescaline that comes out of it.

If you just want mesc, get a san pedro. They're cheaper and they grow a lot faster.

Wild peyote is VERY hard to come by. Only Indians can legally pick it. Not to mention it takes a very long time for peyote to grow to maturity. I think like over 20 years. but someone correct me if I'm wrong. I seen a show something like 48 hours or something where they were talking about peyote. They said that the police are well aware of the spots in the desert where it grows wild and those spots are patrolled regularly.
