How is peyote different from shrooms/acid?

I've always felt that shrooms and acid felt fairly similar in a lot of respects. Now I know that mescaline is supposed to be a far different experience but how would you compare it to those two? What words would you describe that differentiate it?

I heard the visuals were more like not sure of the term mosiac i think? more grainy lookin. Ive never taken it before, I plan on it though

i cant speak for peyote, but ive taken other mescaline containing cacti. From my experience mescaline was very clear headed and lucid, and at times it *almost* felt similar to ecstasy. There was a huge energy boost similar to acid but more focused and less scattered. THe whole trip seems slower and more purposeful. The trips tended to have a definite sense of purpose and meaning, and seemed to create a strange journey/quest for me. The visuals were different as well though i cant quite explain how.

That is just for me though, everyone is different, and ive never tried peyote
