I thought I'd pass this along to everyone here, I just bought a 50lb bag of dried and shredded hpoo for $26.99 on EBAY. That includes shipping and handling.

I know I could have gotten some from a horse farm but this is easier. The seller assured me that his poo comes from the fields and not his stalls so there isn't any ammonia/urine in the manure. Which if it is in the manure can burn up plants in a garden. I don't know how it affects actives tho.

hmmm... $26.99 and wait for it to get to me?  or free and drive to the horse ranch and pick up a truck load (or however much you want)

And where does it come from the stalls, and then you have to dry it and shred it and put it somewhere,and the hose out your truck, unless you like the smell of fresh poo following you where ever you drive. Not me.

I realize not everyone has access to horse farms, but free is the way to go by all means. Last year I loaded a pickup with fresh poo, then weathered and stored it. Ended up with 6 large feed sacks full to the brim of completely dry turds. I've barely gone through one sack. A good trip to a stable should get you a nearly lifetime supply.

Haha, I've almost considered putting 20 LB. bags up at a time for trade in the marketplace, but paying shipping sucks big time.

Well, the smell would probably stay in the carpeting of my Tahoe, and to rent a trailer would be more expensive than ordering it off EBAY. Not everyone has a pickup truck nor a place to store 6 feed bags of poo. Besides gas went up to $3.30 a gallon today.

I also bought my shit off ebay cuz I live in the city, so either way I will be paying for gas or shipping to get some.

It is awesome shit, almost totally dry and has a little bit of straw mixed in. Also isn't chunky at all, it's all broken up. Was 20 bucks for 25 pounds, not bad at all. The auction was 7 bux for the 25 pounds but shipping was $13, I really didn't mind paying it though cuz it saved me the hassle of having to drive out of the city and find a farm. :thumbup:

when i need some i take a big rubbermaid container to the riding stables (that's in the middle of the city) and fill er up... i get about 100 lbs everytime. i have a 2 door mitsubishi and the rubbermaid fit right in the trunk(or the back seat) just fine...

but there is definately more than one way to skin a cat... just glad we're all gettin the shits! haha

Thats where I get my poo. Gotta love stables man. I went there the other day and seen a 50ft long bin of poo that was 10ft wide and 5ft tall. It was crammed full of pale, dry McDungets.

I went to a local park to get my poo. There is a house in the park, where I guess the groundskeeper lives. It has a horse stable with three horses. I told the lady I needed "some" poo. She told me to back my truck up to the pile and she had some dudes load it up. I told her I needed "some". These guys FILLED the bed of the truck up! I had to get rid of alot. You should have seen the look on my wife's face when I pulled up with all that poo!  :crazy:

She doesn't seem to appreciate my hobby like I do :grin: , women! :rolleyes:

Should start a thread for poo collection stories.... I found a property that had a few horses, and two Great Danes that were almost the same size.... a really lovely lady greeted me and when I asked her she was more than happy, took me to a pile of perfectly dried out weathered shit and even gave me a shovel and a hessian bag to put it in! Saw me off and made sure I was happy....! Country people.... mad as a cut snakes....  :grin: :thumbup: :mushroom2:
