MagicalMystery, it would be wise not to assume only liberals think Bush is a lousy President.  Many conservatives can't stand him because Bush in so many ways is not conservative among other things( real christian or a cowboy).
As for clinton bombimg iraq and accomplishing nothing...maybe you are to young to remember...it was/is called containment.  Something i believe the elder bush started.  We knew/know saddam was not a threat to attack us with wmd's...seriously, the guy had anything he could want, why would he sign a death warrent on himself.

and its not that clinton getting a bj and lying doesnt bother me, because it did, BUT not enough to think that getting a bj was grounds for being a bad president, however i DO think that losing american troops lives for lying is grounds for being a bad president, and the buck doesnt stop there, just about EVERYTHING that asshole says pisses me off or at least makes me think hes a stumbling bumbling idiot, hes not smart, he only tries to appeal to one group(guess who), in my opinion a BJ is between a man, his wife, and the woman who gave it(and obviously it wasnt that big of a deal because hilary is still with his ass). but a war held up by lies is the whole worlds business.

So does using profanity fit this criteron as well? I don't care if he cusses at people, if they don't like it, quit. It's just funny how C can be an adulteror and it's his own business and B can use profanity and people are outraged

How many people were "outraged"? It was probably just the media grasping on to another shitty story to exploit, but I don't think many of the democratic or liberal voters, or at least the ones I've talked to, even cared.

There are fuck-ups that mostly affect the politician and his reputation, and fuck-ups that affect almost every aspect of America. It's wise to learn to distinguish between the two, because the latter one can be extremely dangerous for stability, while the former just usually becomes a media parade of senseless shit that most people on the street don't care about.

yeah...i don't remember a single person in this thread claiming to be outraged...most people thought it was kind of funny. I thought it was an onion story at first.

Anyways you're missing the point. If Bush wants to randomly cuss people out who disagree with him, fine. It seems to fit with my mental image of him anyway. But you have to realize that it shows his maturity level and temper (low and short)That's the point. You try to dumb it down to "he's a grown man using profanity" when he's really more or less having temper tantrums when things don't go his way. If theres any truth to the article, which you obviously seem to think there is, then it makes me think that our presidents emotional instability is getting worse.

And enough with the Bill Clinton comparing...it's such a lame, but common, conservative tactic to whine about "but clinton did this..". Basically it's a roundabout way to say "it's not fair" People who do this act like clinton is the measure of everything and all bush's actions must be compared to clintons worst action so we can determine if everyones a hypocrite or not.  :rolleyes: I've got a news flash for you: not everyone who is "liberal" thinks that clinton is some sort of untouchable golden gold - so enough with that tired BS...seriously, i hear enough of that garbage when my roomate listen to Rush Limbaugh: Lord of the Whiners

And then comes concern. This guy is cracking into an irrational hot head with anger management issues and he's in control of nuclear weapons and the fate of the American people right now.

How could someone like my daughter have any respect for a man who calls a woman a fucking bitch and hopes they burn in hell? My daughter should be able to hold her national leader in the highest of esteem and respect.

Maybe some Bush sympathizers can travel up to D.C. and volunteer to give him some BJ's to mellow him out a bit. I think he needs to get out and golf more.

Oh no! clinton got a bj, can we let that fucking go already? Are you guys just jealous? What makes the difference that he even lied about it? How many presidents have got up in front of the public and said they were going to fix this or that and never done it? Is that not a lie? We are used to them lying about common everyday bullshit. But lying about war is NOT common everyday bullshit, especially when many, many lives have been lost. Clinton and his intern were both consenting adults, no harm done except to his personal life, which frankly isn't any of my business what he does with his sperm.

If you wanna say clinton supported and contributed to the intelligence from iraq and you want to have a problem with that it's a whole other story. Get off the Bj thing already, it's quite old and it's none of your business. Repubs wanting to linch a democratic president made it news when it shouldn't have been.

As to bush getting pissed off this is going back into the realms of personal life. I curse all the time, it's habbit and it conveys emotion very well. But I also know how to hold my tongue when it's needed. As many people that curse bush's name he might as well be cursing back, can't really blame the guy. Especially since it's almost his time to get the fuck out (I pray that he actually DOES leave office).

The problems go much deeper than the president though. I think we give them far too much credit when things go right, and far too much blame when things go wrong. Which is why I like to say bush's buddies or bushco when referring to them. I am not stupid enough to believe one man comes up with everything. They are really mouthpiece, hero and fallguy all rolled up into one. And the political climate that is left behind when they leave determines what they are remembered as. And this president will be remember as the one who lied to get us into war. While all you right wingers can debate till your blue in the face as to what defines a lie the rest of the country knows and as time washes away the emotions associated with this time period history will be written not by the victors, but by the facts, and the FACT IS there was no god damn wmd and he said their was; that is a lie, plain and simple.

Maybe when your children come home from a party and are drunk as hell they can tell you how the intelligence said their wasn't suppose to be beer at the party, but for some reason there was and since the intelligence was wrong you can't get them in trouble, it wasn't their fault.
