This a song written by Syd Barrett that is on Floyd's first album. Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Some of you know that the lyrics are almost word for word with chapter 24 of the I Ching.

I dont know much about this book besides what I've read about the song lyrics. Can anyone tell me more about the I Ching?

Also, what are your interpretations of Chapter 24? I believe it is talking about the apocalypse or something along those lines.

i also believe it is talking about the apocalypse....
for some reason...i started seeing the number 24 all over the place last year...after my first major spiritual experience...
now...i believe...half believe...because i think i am part dillusional/shiziod....
that 24 represents the year 2004...and the next seven years afterwards are the apocaplypse...and in 2012 will be the change...maybe...alien first encounter...when we have to unite as a globe...and start fighting evil aliens instead of evil terrorists.

But have you read the I Ching?

i just learned of it today...because of this post...

i think the title of chapter 24 in the I ching is translated "the turning point"

I Ching is pretty weird....I didn't know it was used for fortune telling.
