im from chicago.

and a transmission replacment can go as low as $200 if you do the work yourself, and get a junkyard trans...

its pretty simple in the end, putting on a new tranny is just a matter of bolts and wires and tubes...

i cant actually repair a trans, but im sure that i could get one in a vehicle. i have been working on cars for years.

last year i took my brothers old saturn and literally gutted the thing, everything was taken out, engine, trans interrior, lights, body parts... the only thing we didnt mess with was the gas tank, for obvious reasons...


in the end we had a frame...

i put together a transmission from scratch for a 91mustang a couple years back.. all i can say is fuck that
